Handset and Cord

On the left hand side of the phone, insert the RJ-7 connector on one end of the handset cord into the RJ-7 socket on the phone base unit. Insert the other end of the cord into the handset and place the handset into the cradle of the phone base unit.

RJ45 Ethernet

On the rear of the phone, there is a socket for an RJ 45 Ethernet connector labeled “LAN”. Plug a working Ethernet connection into this interface.

5 Volt Power Adapter

On the rear of the SPA-841 IP phone, there is a connection for the 5 Volt power adapter cable labeled “DC- 5V”. Plug the power adapter cable connector into this interface. On the body of the power adapter, slide the plastic wall interface clip onto the 5 Volt Power supply body. Once you slide the clip into place you should hear a click as the clip secures itself into position
