	flashes as the phone searches for
	the selected base station signal

When it finds the signal, the display shows the normal screen

Switching the handset off

You should normally leave the handset on ready to answer calls.

3	Press several times until the
	display says

SWITCH OFF

4Press and the display will ask you to confirm you want to switch off

SWITCH OFF?

5When the handset is off, it will not respond to pages or incoming calls.

Making a call by pre-dialling

When you predial, you can correct the phone number if you dial it incorrectly.

	and then continue to dial
	Press to dial if the number is	2
