Edit a directory entry

1..Press /.. The screen displays DIRECTORY..

2..Press or to scroll alphabetically through the entries..

-OR-

Press the dial pad key for the first letter of the entry to be edited.

3.. When the screen displays the desired entry, press SEL..

Then press or until EDIT flashes.

4..Press SEL.. The screen displays the name and number.. The cursor appears at the end of the name.. Use to backspace, to add spaces and the dial pad keys to edit the name.. Press SEL to move on to edit the number.. Use to backspace and make corrections.. Press SEL to move on to edit the distinct ring tone.. Follow steps 7-10 in Store a directory entry (page 20)..

When memory is full, the screen displays

MEMORY FULL.. There will be an error tone and no new entry can be stored until an existing entry is deleted..
