INTERCM MENU

Your telephone can accommodate up to 4 cordless handsets. You can add new handsets (sold separately) at any time.

Before using a new handset, you must first install and charge the batteries for 15 hours (see page 7).

After the batteries are fully charged, follow the pro- cedure below to register the handset to the base.

1Select MENU.

2Highlight "Register," then select OK. The screen will display, "Search Base".

3Press and hold the LOCATE HANDSET button on the base for at least 30 seconds.

4The handset should beep to indicate the registra- tion has completed. You will be prompted to enter a name for the new handset (see page 17 for help in entering names). We strongly recommend that you give each handset a distinctive name, to simplify paging and intercom use.

5Select OK to save the new handset name. The name you enter will be displayed on screen when the handset is idle, and in intercom paging lists.
