Personalizing The PHIP65

The PHIP65 comes with a selection of settings that the user can change to personalize the phone.

Personalizing the phone will be done using the individual menu options. At any time the user can press BACK to exit the current menu or cancel the confirmation. If EXIT is pressed, the phone will simply abort all programming and return to standby.

Personalizing the phone’s display:

Give the phone a name. Users can personally change the name of the phone by choosing a name up to 10 characters in length. The name can be composed of any characters from A-Z or 0-9. Spaces can also be used.

1.Press the MENU key.

2.Select PERSONAL SET and press the OK key.

3Select HANDSET NAME and press the OK key. The current handset name is displayed.

4.End the handset name.

5.Press the OK key to confirm.

Adjusting the phone’s contrast:

The display contrast can be adjusted for better viewing.

1.Press the MENU key.

2.Select PERSONAL SET and press the OK key.

3Select CONTRAST and press the OK key. The current CONTRAST LEVEL is displayed.

4.Press UP or DOWN to select desired contrast level. Press the OK key to confirm.

Using the auto answer feature:

Auto answer gives the user the convenience of answering a call just by picking up the handset from the charger. No need to press TALK during this feature.

1.Press the MENU key.

2.Select PERSONAL SET and press the OK key.

3Select AUTO ANSWER and press the OK key. Then select whether to turn it ON or OFF and press the OK key.
