Stripping an area code:

Users can strip the area code from the incoming caller’s number. A return call can be made directly using the number in the call history.

The area code can be up to 5 digits long. The area code will be removed from the incoming caller’s number that corresponds to the entered area code.

To strip the area code, follow the steps provided below.

1.Press the MENU key.

2.Select ADVANCED SET and press the OK key.

3Select AREA CODE and press the OK key.

4.Enter the area code and press the OK key to confirm.

Viewing the dialed call list:

1.Press t he REDIAL key. The last dialed number will show on the display.

2.Use the UP and DOWN keys to scroll through the call list.

Saving a dialed call to a phone book:

Save numbers to the phone book while scrolling through the dialed call list.

1.Press the MENU key

2.To save a number, select the desired phone book to save the entry to.

3.Enter a name for this contact and press the OK key.

4.Ed it the number if necessary. Press the OK key.

Matching a phone book record :

If a dialed number matches a phone number stored in the phone book, that phone book name will be displayed instead of the dialed number.

NOTE: The record is now saved into the phone book. The dialed record is still in your dialed list, but it will show the new name entered.
