Using CID first suppression

If the user has subscribed for a Caller ID service through his or her local phone company, his or her phone will suppress the first ring before the CID. After resetting, first ring suppression will be deactivated. The phone will automatically detect if CID service is subscribed after the first call. If CID service is detected, the phone will start suppressing the first ring after the first call.

Note: Once first ring suppression is activated, the first ring before CID will be suppressed even after the user has unsubscribed to the CID service. If the user has unsubscribed to the CID service and does not wish to have the first ring suppressed, please power recycle the base.
