Setting the voicemail waiting indicator (VMWI):

1.Press the MENU key and select ADVANCED SET. Press the OK key.

2.Select VMWI and press the OK key.

3DELETE? will show on the screen. Press the OK key again to confirm.

Registering a handset:

Each base can register up to 4 handsets. Each handset can register up to 4 bases.

1.Press the MENU key.

2.Select ADVANCED SET and press the OK key.

3.Se lect REGISTRATION and press the OK key.

4.Before entering the PIN, press and hold the PAGING key on the base for 4 seconds.

The base is full:

Users can register up to 4 ha ndsets to the same base. After registering 4 handsets to the same base, the base unit becomes full. If the user wants to register an additional handset, the user has to unregister o ne of the handsets. See un registering a handset for more information.

5.Enter the PIN (Personal Identification Number Default is 0000) and press the OK key.

Successful registration:

Users will hear a confirmation tone if the registration is successful. The handset label, the handset number, and the clock will be displayed.

Unsuccessful registration:

If the registration is not successful, the handset registers back to its original base unit. SEARCHING will be displayed if it has lost a link to the base unit. Follow the procedure and try again. If you see UNREGISTER displayed, this means the phone is registering for the first time.

Unregistering another handset:

A handset can unregister another handset registered to the same base. It cannot unregister itself.
