ATTENTION

You must have a copy of the backup file to restore.

Shared files for group calls and conferences are not restored with this procedure.

Step Action

1Log on to the server as nortel.

2To become the root user, enter su - root

3Enter the password for root.

4To stop the server processes, enter

/sbin/service sipconf stop /sbin/service mobilitygw stop /sbin/service mobilityadmin stop

5To change to the backup directory, enter cd /opt/backup

6Copy the backup file from the off-site location or removable media to the backup directory.

7Enter the following commands:

mysql <backup.sql mysqladmin flush-privileges

8To start the server processes, enter

/sbin/service sipconf start /sbin/service mobilitygw start /sbin/service mobilityadmin start
