Adjusting the ringer volume
You can set one of five ringer volume levels or turn it off completely.
1.Press the OK button [7].
2.Press the [6] button, LCD will show: “HANDSET”.
3.Press the OK button [7], LCD will show “TONES”.
4.Press the [6] button, LCD will show: “RING VOL”.
5.Press the OK button [7].
6.Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the speaker volume level you want.
7.Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection or press the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Handset locator
If you cannot find the misplaced handset [1], you may use the handset locator function.
1.Press the button [15]. The handset [1] will start ringing. The “In Use” indicator [14] will start to flash, and the LCD [2] will display the icon “INT”.
2.To stop the ringing, press the button [15] on the base unit [12] or any dialing button [11].
Note:
If you do not disable the “Handset locator” function yourself, it will be automatically disabled in 30 seconds.
Service signals
You may turn any of the service signals on or off.
Setting the buttons beep
You can select whether or not you want to hear a beep sound whenever you press a button. The factory setting is the beep ON.
1.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2.Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “TONES”.
4.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “KEY TONE”.
5.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “ON” or “OFF”.
6.Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the mode you want. “ON” - the beep is enabled, “OFF” - the beep is disabled.
7.Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection or press the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Battery low signal
1.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2.Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “TONES”.
4.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “KEY TONE”.
