Switching the handset on/off
–Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button [9] until the handset turns off.
–To turn the handset on, just press the POWER ON/OFF button [9].
Auto answer
When the auto answer feature is enabled, you can answer the incoming call by just lifting the handset from the base unit without pressing the CALL button [4].
Enabling the auto answer mode
1.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2.Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3.Press the OK button [7].
4.Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “AUTO ANS”.
5.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ON” or “OFF”.
6.Using the [5] or [6] buttons, choose the appropriate mode.
7.Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection and go to the previous menu item.
8.Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Base unit PIN Code
The base unit PIN code (Personal Identification Number) consists of four digits. The PIN code is designed for prevention of illegal registration and base unit access. The PIN code factory preset is 0000.

1.Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2.Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “BASE”.
3.Press the OK button [7].
4.Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “CHANGE PIN”.
