16 Using the phone

Ending calls

 

1. Replace the handset on the base or press

or Headset .

Call timer

The display shows the duration of all external calls, both during your call and for a few seconds after you hang up.

Handsfree volume is retained. The headset and handset volume revert to mid setting.

Receiving calls

1. When the phone rings, lift the handset and speak, or press or

Headset .

If you have subscribed to your network’s Caller Display service, the caller’s number (and name if stored in the phone book) is displayed.

Adjust volume

1.During a call, the volume is displayed. Press Volume , then press or .

The volume level is displayed.

Secrecy

During a call, you can talk to someone nearby without your caller hearing you.

1.During the call press . The button lights up and your caller cannot hear you.

2.Press again to return to your caller.
