This chapter provides basic instructions for setting up Polycom VVX 1500 D phones when managed in an H.323 environment:
1.Connect the phone to the local area network (LAN) using the supplied network cable. Refer to Connecting the Phone to the Network on page
The phone will boot up once power is supplied. This process may take some time.
2.Decide how you want the phones to behave. Refer to Configuring the Phones on page
3.Once the bootup process is complete, you can change the phone’s configuration through a web interface. Refer to Modifying Phone’s Configuration Using the Web Interface on page
