Using SoundPoint® IP Expansion Module

To Place a Call

Line keys on the SoundPoint® IP Expansion Module activate available lines. To place a call from an available line, press the corresponding line key and dial the desired number,

OR

Press the line key of the Speed Dial assignment you wish to call.

To Answer a Call

For other call-handling func- tions such as Hold, Redial, and Call Forwarding, please see the relevant sections ear- lier in this User Guide.

Press the line key with the flashing green LED indicator.

Display Contrast

To adjust the contrast on the display to a comfortable level:

1. Press Menu . Select Settings

followed by Basic, Contrast.

2.The display on the SoundPoint® IP Expansion Module(s) will change, presenting a new display along with line keys that are assigned Up or Down status. Pressing the Up or Down line keys will increase or decrease the display contrast.

3.Press the Ok or Cancel soft keys on the phone to accept or reject changes.

4. Press Menu or the Exit soft key to return to the idle display.

Speed Dial

You can create up to 47 speed dial entries when three SoundPoint® IP Expansion Mod-

ules are attached. To add speed dial entries, see the sections Contact Directory and Speed Dial earlier in this User Guide.

The SoundPoint® IP Expansion Module will assign line designations to the first available line keys and then follow them with speed dial assignments.
