About This Guide

This guide explains how to integrate the Polycom® SoundStation® IP 7000 conference phone with a Polycom® HDX system in environments where the PBX telephony system is not compatible with the conference phone. In this environment, you will be able to conduct both voice and video calls and conferences, but voice calls will be placed and received using the POTS or ISDN interface on the Polycom HDX system.

Be sure to verify that your network is prepared for configuring the conference phone and Polycom HDX system.
