the caller’s number or name in the call log (see section 11.1 - “Access the Call log”).

When you store an incoming number in the phonebook, the digits of the number will be saved exactly as they appear on the screen.

If the first 3 digits of the incoming number corresponds to the local area code set in your phone, they will be filtered automatically when you press the

tor l on the handset (or l on the base station) to dial. To change the local area code, see section 13.9 - “Set Area Code”.

11.2Save call list entry into the phonebook

1Press u in idle mode, then scroll

nto select an entry and press o Menu.

2Scroll n to Save Number and press o Select.

3Enter Name is displayed on the screen. Enter the name of the contact (maximum 14 characters)

and press o OK.

4Enter Number is displayed and the selected number from the call list appears in the number field. At this time you can edit the number if

you wish to.

5Press o OK.

A confirmation tone sounds and the screen returns to call log.

Note

Press c Clear to delete the last digit or character entered or long press to delete all.

11.3Delete a call list entry

1Press u in idle mode, then scroll n to select an entry and press o

Menu.

2Scroll n to Delete and press o Select.

3Delete? is displayed on the screen. Press o OK to confirm deletion.

A validation tone is emitted, the call list entry is deleted, and the display goes to the next entry in

the call list.

Note

Press c Back to discard the deletion. The screen returns to the Call List menu.

11.4Delete all call list entries

1Press u in idle mode, then press

oMenu.

2Scroll n to Delete All and press

oSelect.

3Delete All? is displayed on the screen. Press o OK to confirm

deletion.

A validation tone is emitted. The display shows List Empty for 2 seconds and returns to the idle mode.
