15.1.2Functions available during playback

During playback, you can enable the following functions by pressing o Menu. Use n to scroll between the functions and press o Select to confirm.

15.3Turn the Answering Machine On/Off from the Handset (Handset only)

You can turn the answering machine on or off from the handset as follows.

1Press the m key in idle mode, scroll n to Answer Machine, and press o Select.

2Scroll n to Answer On/Off and press o Select.

3Scroll n to select On or Off and press o Select.

A validation tone is emitted and the screen returns to Answer Machine menu.

15.2Delete all messages (Handset

only) Warning

Deleted messages cannot be recovered.

Note

Unplayed messages will not be deleted.

1Press the m key in idle mode, scroll n to Answer Machine, and

press o Select.

2Scroll n to Delete All and press o Select.

3Delete All? is displayed on the screen. Press o OK to confirm

deletion of all your messages.

Waiting… is displayed while the messages are deleted; then, Deleted is displayed for 2 seconds, and the display returns to the Answer Machine menu.

15.4Play, Record, or Delete an Outgoing Message

You can record a personalized message to be played when the answering machine picks up an incoming call.

Note

The maximum length of an outgoing message is 1 minute.

1Press the m key in idle mode, scroll n to Answer Machine, and

press o Select.

2Scroll n to Record OGM and press o Select.

3Scroll n to select Answer & Rec. or Answer Only and press o

Select.

4Scroll n to select Play, Record Message, or Delete and press o

Select.

If Play is selected, the current outgoing message is played.
