4.Click VGA Driver in the menu and follow the instructions.

After you have installed VGA driver, connect the monitor cable, select Tools menu in the command bar, select the Set Up Show command, and then choose External VGA in the View Show on list box. In this point LCD output is still active because the Pocket PowerPoint is not in slide show mode. If you select View Show command in the View menu of the command bar or simply tap the icon of the slide show, the slide-show mode is activated, the LCD output is disabled, and you can see the presentation via color monitor. If you want to return to the touch panel from the CRT, press the ESC key, which terminates the session of the slide show. The following pages describe the procedures in detail.

Usage

1.Edit your PowerPoint 97 presentation using the desktop version of Microsoft PowerPoint 97.

2.Download this presentation file using Windows CE Service Package with converter enabled. The conversion option should be set to from .ppt to .ppv and 640*480 mode.

3.Run the Pocket PowerPoint by double-tapping the Microsoft Pocket PowerPoint icon. Open the file you want to present.

4.If you want to see the presentation through a color monitor, connect the monitor cable via the Handheld PC monitor cable adapter.

5.Tap the Tools menu in the command bar, then tap Set Up Show... command.

6.Tap External VGA in the View Show on list box. Note that LCD output is still active in this point because Pocket PowerPoint has not entered slide show.

7.If you select View Show command in the View menu of the command bar or simply tap the icon of the slide show, Pocket PowerPoint enters the slide- show mode, LCD output is disabled, and you can see the presentation via color monitor.
