Getting Started

Getting Started

Before using the Pegaso for the first time, you must install the Battery Pack into the unit, then charge both the Battery Pack and the Backup Battery. See Install- ing the Battery Pack on page 7 for instructions.

You must charge the battery pack and backup battery in a dock or with a power cable prior to your first use of the Pegaso. The initial charge time is approximately 4 hours. See Charging the Batteries on page 10 for more information.

Powering the Pegaso

Battery Pack

The battery pack in the Pegaso is a 3.7 V, 2200 mAh or 3300 mAh Lithium Ion battery pack. A message dialog box will appear when the battery pack reaches a low state.

After charging the first time, a complete charge takes about four (4) hours depending on the bat- tery pack’s state and the recharging method. A sample battery pack label is shown at right. The label on your unit may vary from the illustration.
