Energy management

General information on energy management

The battery operating time depends greatly on the applications used. Please consider that a particularly large amount of energy is required to play sound files. Therefore, if you want to work for an extended time in battery mode, limit the use of energy-intensive applications.

Data exchange with a PC or notebook also consumes additional battery power. Therefore, always connect your Pocket LOOX to an electrical outlet during data exchange if possible.

Using energy saving functions

You can save energy in several ways to optimize battery operating time:

Switch the Pocket LOOX into Suspend mode when you are not using it (see chapters "Configuring Suspend mode", Page 30 and "Switching the Pocket LOOX on and

off during normal use (Suspend mode)", Page 12).

Reduce the screen lighting (see chapter "Adjusting screen lighting", Page 28).

Switch off the sound, reduce the volume or only allow acoustic signals for certain applications (see chapter "Adjusting the volume", Page 27).
