OPERATION

RECEIVING AND STORING CALLS

Your System 440 allows you to see information about an incoming call whether or not you are on the phone.

As you receive each call, your module saves a call record so you can re- view it later. Your module saves up to 99 call records before it begins to replace the oldest call record with a new one.

Each call record includes:

• Date and time of the call

• Call number (order the call is received)

• Telephone number

• Caller’s name (if avail- able)

Note: If you have a telephone that has a HOLD feature, we do not rec- ommend using HOLD for very long. A caller on hold might be discon- nected if a new call comes in.
