Multi-unit Operation

LIf you want to register the handset to other base unit(s), follow “Registering a handset to a base unit”, page 19.

L If the cancelled handset is registered to other base unit(s), select the base unit by following “Selecting a base unit”, page 19.

L If you do not use the handset, we recommend removing the battery to prevent malfunctioning.

Intercom between handsets

Intercom calls can be made between handsets. Example: When handset 1 calls handset 2

1Handset 1:

{INT} i{^}/{V}: Handset 2(desired handset number). i{OK}

2Handset 2:

{C}

3When finished talking, press {i}.

Transferring calls between handsets, conference calls

Outside calls can be transferred between 2 people. 2 people can have a conference call with an outside party.

Example: When handset 1 transfers a call to handset 2

1Handset 1:

During an outside call, press {INT}. i {^}/{V}: Handset 2(desired handset number). i{OK}

L The outside call will be put on hold.

L If there is no answer, press {i} to return to the outside call.

2Handset 2:

{C}

L Handset 2 can talk with handset 1.

3Handset 1:

L To complete the call transfer, press {i}. L To establish a conference call, press

{CONF}.

Pressing {s} puts the external party on hold, establishing an intercom call with handset 2.

L To switch between handset 2 and the outside call, press {SWAP}.

Note:

LYou can also press {</T} to mute the conference call. Press {</T} again to resume the conference call.
