Troubleshooting

If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the base unit AC adaptor and remove the handset batteries. Then reconnect the base unit AC adaptor and install the batteries.

L The handset is in screen saver mode (page 10). If

 

charging, lift the handset to activate the handset display

 

again. If the handset is not on the base unit, activate the

 

handset display again by:

 

– pressing {^} or {V} when on a call

 

– pressing {i} for all other times

 

L Dimmed Backlightis set to Off. Change the

 

setting (page 15).

The handset will not turn on.

L Make sure that the batteries are installed correctly (page

 

9).

 

L Fully charge the batteries (page 9).

 

L Clean the charge contacts and charge again (page 9).
