Note:

LIt is normal for batteries not to reach full capacity at the initial charge. Maximum battery performance is reached after a few complete cycles of charge/discharge (use).

LTo maximize battery life, it is recommended that the handset batteries be fully discharged (used) until / flashes once every few months.

L Actual battery performance depends on a combination of how often the handset is in use and how often it is not in use (standby).

LThe battery level may not be displayed correctly after you replace the batteries. In this case, place the handset on the base unit and let it charge for at least 8 hours.

Screen saver mode

If the handset is not on the base unit

The backlight will turn off completely after 1 minute of inactivity, even when on a call.

To use the handset when it is in screen saver mode, activate the handset display again by:

pressing {^} or {V} when on a call

pressing {i} for all other times

While charging

The backlight will be dimmed after 1 minute of inactivity. The backlight can be turned off completely depending on the setting (page 15). To use the handset when it is in screen saver mode, lift the handset to activate the handset display again.
