RIf you change the PIN, please make note of your new PIN. The unit will not reveal the PIN to you. If you forget your PIN, contact an authorised service centre.

Increasing the range of the base unit

You can increase the signal range of the base unit by using a DECT repeater. Please use only the Panasonic DECT repeater noted on page 5. Contact your Panasonic dealer for details.

Important:

RBefore registering the repeater to this base unit, you must turn the repeater mode on.

RDo not use more than one repeater at a time.

Note:

RAfter turning the repeater mode on or off,

may be displayed on the handset momentarily. This is normal and the

handset can be used once is displayed.

Registering the DECT repeater (KX-A405) to the base unit

Note:

RPlease use a repeater that has not yet been registered to another unit. If the repeater is

registered to another unit, deregister it first, referring to the Installation Guide for the DECT repeater.

1Base unit:

Proceed with the operation for your model.

n KX-TG6811 series: page 3 Press and hold MN for about 5 seconds. (No registration tone)

n KX-TG6821 series: page 3 Press and hold MN for about 5 seconds, until the registration tone sounds.

R The next step must be completed within 90 seconds.

2DECT repeater:

Connect the AC adaptor, then wait until

the indicator and indicator light green.

3Base unit:

To exit the registration mode, press MN. R The registration tone stops.
