Answering System

Select Greeting onlyin step 2 on “Caller’s recording time”, page 41.

Note:

L When you select Greeting only:

If you do not record your own message, the unit will play the pre- recorded greeting-only message asking callers to call again later.

If you use your own message, record the greeting-only message asking callers to call again later (page 37).

Message alert

You can select whether or not the message indicator on the handset flashes slowly when new messages are recorded. The default setting is On.

Important:

L If you stored the voice mail access

number (page 43), the message indicator also flashes for newly recorded voice mail messages (page 44).
