7)On the base unit, pull the handset retainer out of the slot and rotate it clockwise 180°.

If the handset beltclip is attached, you cannot charge the handset with the display showing when the phone is mounted on the wall (See page 14).

8)Flip the retainer from front to back, then slide it back into the slot so that the lip of the retainer faces up and the oval is at the bottom of the retainer. This will hold the handset in place.
