Before Using the Remote Control

Before using the remote control for the first time, pull out the film from the bottom of the remote control.

Removing the battery holder

Hook your fingernail on

and as in the diagram below, and pull the battery holder out while pressing in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Inserting the battery Remove the old battery, and insert a new battery in the battery holder with the + side up.

Inserting the battery holder Install the battery holder in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Lithium Battery (CR2025)

Under normal usage, the battery will last from 6 months to a year. However, the attached battery is for confirming operation of the remote, so the battery life could be shorter. If it becomes difficult to operate, please replace the battery.

How to handle batteries

If you misuse the battery, it may leak, get hot or burst so make sure to do the following.

 

 

• Keep batteries out of the reach of

 

 

children.

 

 

• If a battery is swallowed, consult with a

 

 

doctor immediately.

Warning !

 

• Do not heat, dismantle or throw a battery

 

 

in a fire.

 

 

• Do not short out a battery.

 

 

 

 

• Insert as indicated by the (+) sign.

 

 

 

• Do not use a battery other than the one

 

 

specified.

 

 

• Remove the battery when it is used up.

 

 

• Remove the battery if you won’t be using

If liquid leaks out of the battery…

 

 

 

 

• Wipe off the liquid well.

 

 

• If the liquid touches your skin or clothes,

 

 

wash off with plenty of water.

Operation of your remote control

Operate the remote control within 30˚ angle on either side of the remote sensor, up to a distance of approx. 6 meters.

To make your remote control work properly…

Your remote control may not function properly or fail to work at all in the following circumstances.

If there is an obstruction between the remote and the main unit.

If direct sunlight or a strong light shines on the remote sensor.
