You may not be able to playback depending on the type of adaptor and how it is mounted.

* Although DVD-R discs that have been recorded in the video mode can be played back, there are times when a disc cannot be played back, depending on how it was recorded.

Discs apart from the CDs above, such as video CDs, photo CDs, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW disc cannot be played.

Some CD-R/RW discs may be incompatible.

This unit uses the NTSC color system, and cannot play DVD video discs recorded in any other color system (PAL, SECAM, etc.).

The region number of this unit is 1. If region numbers, which stand for their playable area, are

printed on your DVD video disc and you do not find or , disc playback will not be allowed by the player.

Notes in Playing CDs

Please use discs that have the CD logo, on the disc’s label.

We cannot guarantee sound quality or playback if you use a disc that does not comply with CD standards, such as a copy-controlled discs, specially shaped discs, etc.

We cannot guarantee playback in the CD playback function if you use CDs that do not meet CD standards, such as those with Copy Guard, etc. When playing a CD, please check that it has the CD logo symbol and read the notes on the package to be sure that the disc complies with CD standards. If you have difficulty in playing CDs only with CDs that do not comply with CD standards, we would ask you to contact the retailer of those discs for detailed information.

Structure of Disc Contents

Normally, DVD video discs are divided into titles, and the titles are sub-divided into chapters. Audio CDs are divided into tracks. Each title, chapter or track is assigned a number, which is called “title number”, “chapter number” or “track number” respectively.
