If you are not sure what the video mode should be, check the documentation that came with your television. If the wrong video mode is selected, the TV displays a blue screen and you will not see the next prompt to change the room name.

Change room name. You can enter a room name or select a room name from the list.

Depending on where you bought your Digital Entertainer Express, you might be prompted to enter your zip code or to choose your country and nearest city. If you want to receive weather information, enter your zip code or location. Press the down arrow when you are finished, and then press .

7.You are prompted to install software.

If you use a Linux-based computer, you do not need to install the software. See “Accessing the Setup Wizard from the Digital Entertainer Express Menu” on page 1-15.

If you use a Windows-based PC or a Mac, see the following section, “Installing the Digital Entertainer for Windows Software” on page 1-8.

If you use a Mac, see “Installing the Digital Entertainer Software on a Mac” on page 1-10.

Installing the Digital Entertainer for Windows Software

After connecting the Digital Entertainer Express and completing setup you are prompted to install software.

To install software on your PC from the Resource CD:
