Chapter 5 Advanced Features and More Features

Use the screens you access by selecting More > Supervisor functions to perform housekeeping tasks, run media library scans, and view system information. You can also use your Digital Entertainer Express to access the desktop of a PC on your network.

Advanced Settings

Select More > Supervisor functions > Advanced Settings to display the following menu:

The following options are available:

•Power

•Network connection. See “Network Connection” on page 5-4.

•Servers and shared folders. Set up shared media files available for the Digital Entertainer Express. See “Setting Up Network Shares” on page 5-5.

•Parental controls and security. Set up parental controls See “Setting Up Parental Control” on page 4-13.
