Network Connections

The following sections provide recommendations for how to troubleshoot network connections.

Ethernet LAN Connection

The Digital Entertainer Express expects to be connected to a hub, switch, or router using a standard Ethernet cable. If you connect to your network using Ethernet, the link LEDs on the back of your Digital Entertainer Express and on your hub or router should both be on. If they are not lit, try the following:

Make sure that the Ethernet cable connections are secure at the router and at the hub or workstation.

Make sure that power is turned on to the connected hub or workstation.
