Digital Entertainer Express EVA9100 User Manual

Media library management. Manage your media library. See “Media Library Management” on page 5-5.

Language. Select a language for the Digital Entertainer Express onscreen menus.

Time and location. Specify your location and time zone, and synchronize your Digital Entertainer Express to a time server.

Other. The following options are available:

Folder browsing. Enable or disable folder browsing. Enabling this option displays the complete folder tree starting at the top level. Enable “Live” folder browsing to display all network locations and scan each folder as you select it, adding any new media it finds to the media library.

SACK Processing. SACK audio processing is used for debugging only.

Media art display. Specifies the size of media art. Smaller files appear fast on the screen.

Pop-up help. Enables or disables the pop-up help system. Pop-up help is enabled by default.

YouTube direct playback. Enables or Disables higher quality video directly from YouTube without using a Windows PC. Since some YouTube clips are not available using this method, error messages may appear.

Disable UPnP setting. Use this to disable UPnP support in the event you are experiencing compatibility problems with UPnP devices or servers on your network.

Restore factory defaults. This resets all the options to the default values as of the last installed firmware, and requires a system restart. See “Restoring Factory Settings” on page A-1.

Display and Screensaver

You can adjust the following settings:

Display type. Select the display you prefer. The default is North America.

Display mode. For a high-definition TV, select the appropriate resolution.

Aspect ratio. When set to Normal, the aspect ratio defaults to the same setting as the content you are viewing.

Smooth scroll. This setting affects the appearance of the Digital Entertainer Express menus.
