BASIC OPERATION

IMPORTANT:

When “ ” appears while pressing a button, this means that the

corresponding function cannot be performed either on the disc inserted, or

in the selected mode.

MUTE BUTTON

Press the MUTE button once to mute the sound; the Mute indicator will appear on the screen. Press the MUTE button again to restore the sound; the Mute indicator will disappear from the screen.

HEADPHONE JACK(S)

For private listening, plug headphones into one or both of the Headphone jacks. The speakers will be disconnected when headphone(s) are connected.

ROTATE BUTTON

Press the ROTATE unit to flip the display’s picture 180°. This is useful when the screen is rotated as shown on page 8. Press the ROTATE button again to flip the display's picture back to the normal position.

SOURCE BUTTON

To view the image/hear the sound from an external unit, press the SOURCE button to select AV Input. Press again to exit the AV Input mode. Please refer to page 15 to connect an external unit to this player.

NOTE: While in the AV Input mode, only the POWER button (on the main unit) and the SOURCE button will function.
