3Turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level. The speaker is switched off when headphones are connected.

4.11.2 Connecting an external microphone

Note

If you connect an external microphone to the device, the recording source will switch automatically and the device microphone will turn off.

1Stop the recording currently in progress.

2Insert the plug into the MIC microphone output on the top (DVT1000, DVT1500) or the side (DVT3000 – DVT7000) of the device.
