EQ 3 for the front and rear occupants

Hold the calibration microphone (avail- able as an accessory) in the appropri- ate position whilst the calibration is tak- ing place.

The position of the calibration micro- phone for situation 1 (e.g. for the driver alone) is at the height of the driver's head.

For situation 2, the calibration micro- phone is between the driver and pas- senger.

For Situation 3, it is in the middle of the vehicle interior (left/right, front/back).

Really quiet surroundings are required for the calibration. Any extraneous noise will distort the measured values.
