SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

READ AND UNDERSTAND ENTIRE SECTION BEFORE OPERATING MACHINE.

WARNING

• ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN KILL. Unless using COLD FEED fea- ture, when feeding with gun trig- ger, the electrode and drive mechanism are always electri- cally energized and could remain energized several sec- onds after the welding ceases..

Do not attach the work clip to the roll cage or bottom skids. The work clip is energized any time the output of the welding power source is “ON”, even when the feeder is not welding.

Do not touch electrically live part or electrode with skin or wet clothing.

Insulate yourself from work and ground.

Always wear dry insulating gloves.

The serviceability of a product or structure uti- lizing the LN-15 wire feeder is and must be the sole responsibility of the builder/user. Many variables beyond the control of The Lincoln Electric Company affect the results obtained in using the LN-15 wire feeder. These variables include, but are not limited to, welding proce- dure, plate chemistry and temperature, weld- ment design, fabrication methods and service requirements. The available range of the LN-15

wire feeder may not be suitable for all applica- tions, and the builder/user is and must be sole- ly responsible for welding settings.
