18.No utilice una cuchilla dañada o sin filo. Las cuchillas sin filo o aquéllas colocadas incorrectamente producen un corte estrecho ocasionando que haya una fricción excesiva, y la cuchilla se atasque y produzca un CONTRAGOLPE.

19.Las palancas inmovilizadoras para ajustar el bisel y la profundidad deben ajustarse y asegurarse antes de comenzar

a realizar el corte. Si el ajuste de la cuchilla cambia mientras se efectúa el corte, la cuchilla puede atascarse y producir un

CONTRAGOLPE.

20.Sea extremadamente precavido cuando realice un “corte por penetración” en paredes u otras áreas ciegas. La cuchilla que sobresale puede cortar objetos que pueden provocar el rebote.
