Installation on FAA Deep Bases

Overview of FAA deep bases and Siemens Airfield Solutions adapter rings

Introduction

The next table lists the FAA deep bases which can be used for the installation of an

 

12” F-range inset light and the Siemens Airfield Solutions adapter ring to use.

 

 

Toe-in

For applications where a toe-in is required, two solutions are possible:

 

1.

light fittings with built-in toe-in; the adapter ring must be in the straight version.

 

2.

light fittings without toe-in ; the adapter ring must include the required toe-in.

The toe-in is used in the following applications:
