Dolphin OS and System Development Software

Important Notice: Only install the most recent release of the Dolphin ROM IMAGE and Bootloader, loading an old version of the ROM IMAGE or Bootloader can result in Dolphin becoming unstable or inoperable, and requiring the unit to be returned to Hand Held Products for repair.

The Dolphin OS and Development System is available from the Partners Area of the web site at www.handheld.com. The self- extracting file contains:

Sample Programs with source code

Dolphin Utilities including Communication and Upgrade Wizard

Electronic Help

Bootloader & ROM Image

Installation

Once the file is downloaded on your PC, double click the Dolphin OS and Development System icon and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation and set-up procedure.

Default Installation Directories

There are two install packages - one for the Dolphin 7200 2D and one for the Dolphin 7200 Batch and Laser configurations. Each configuration has its own default directory:

c:\Dolph34\ is the default directory for the Dolphin 7200 2D.

c:\Dolph43\ is the default directory for the Dolphin 7200 Batch and Laser. In the table below, this will be represented by c:\dolphXX\
