OPERATION

Before Starting

Before starting the saw, carefully follow the checklist below:

rSecurely install the Belt Guard (2).

rFully slide on the Collar Guard (3).

rVerify that proper-sized Blade Guard (4) is fully installed on the Blade Guard mounting tab.

rConfirm the rear and side access panels (5) (6)& (7) and engine protector are in place.

rWear eye and hearing protection and protective clothing.

rAdjust handle bars (1) for best operator control.

rIf a belt driven water pump is installed, do not run the engine with the water pump switch on, unless the water supply is connected and water is flowing.
