Contour Sanding

Curves and profile sanding operations can be sanded on the contour table.

To start a contour sanding operations, do these steps:

1.UNPLUG THE SANDER!

2.Loosen the lock knobs in Figure 18 to adjust the contour table height to the desired posi- tion. Note— Keep enough of the table post in the bracket so the adjustment knobs can make contact.

3.Tighten the lock knobs to secure the table.

4.Plug the sander into the power supply.

5.Start the sander.

6.Hold the workpiece firmly with both hands and feed it into the curved end as shown in Figure 19. Move the workpiece around the end until the desired profile is achieved.
