Note: We recommend that you only use PowerFast® heavy-duty staples/nails in this tool. Wrong staples/nails can cause jamming.

5. Slide magazine closed. Make sure magazine locks into place.

Operating Tool

WARNING: Keep power switch in the OFF (0) position and finger off trigger until ready to drive staple/nail.

WARNING: Keep all body parts away from staple/nail exit on tool.

1.Make sure power switch is in the OFF (0) position.

2.Plug tool into a 120 Volt/60 Hertz outlet.

3.Grip tool firmly.

4.Toggle power switch to the ON (I) position.

5.Press tool firmly against work surface. Use enough pressure to depress safety lock located on staple/nail exit of tool (see Figure 5). IMPORTANT: The safety lock

must be depressed for this tool to operate. This tool will not fire unless this is depressed completely.

6.Squeeze trigger to fire.

7.IMPORTANT: Do not fire this tool when empty of staples/ nails. This may damage tool.

Note: In difficult fastening jobs, press
down on head of tool with palm of
free hand (see Figure 5). This will	Safety Lock
improve staple/nail driving.
