MAKING A NON-THROUGH CUT

NON-THROUGH CUT

Non-through cuts can be made with the grain (ripping) or

 

 

across the grain (cross cut). The use of a non-through cut is

 

 

essential to cutting grooves, rabbets, and dadoes.
