GENERAL MAINTENANCE

A WARNING: When servicing, use only identical

Craftsman replacement pads. Use of any other part may create a hazard or cause product damage.

A WARNING: To prevent accidental starting that could cause possible serious personal injury, turn off the saw with the switch on the arm, remove the switch key, and unplug the saw before working on the radial saw.

Remove sawdust from the work area, including inside the blade cover, frequently.

Remove sawdust from and clean the blade guards frequently.

Clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth. Do not use any strong solvents.

,_, WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating

oils, etc. contact plastic pads. They contain Chemicals that can damage, weaken or destroy

plastic.

Check teeth of anti-kickback pawls; sharpen with file if needed.

Regularly check all nuts, bolts, screws, and cables for tightness and condition.

MOTOR/ELECTRICAL

Frequently vacuum or blow out any sawdust from the work areas.
