Tool Disassembly
WARNING: Never disassemble, replace barrel, clean, or assemble a loaded powder actuated tool.
REMOVING BARREL ASSEMBLY
1. Using screwdriver, lift end of annular spring and rotate spring until stop is
uncovered (see Figure 1).Annular Spring

2. Using thumb, push stop towards rear of tool and remove (see Figure 2).

3.Pull barrel assembly out of liner in tool body.

4.Remove shear clip from barrel assembly (see item 20, page 17, for shear clip location).

5.Separate base plate from piston sleeve (see Figure 3).
