[3]-2. Anvil and Bit holding Mechanism

DISASSEMBLING

(1)Remove Hammer case section as illustrated in Figs. 2 and 3.

(2)Remove Bearing box, Internal gear 43 and Hammer section from Hammer case complete as illustrated in Fig. 4.

Use 1R232, for stabilizing Sleeve in the position where Ring spring 11 can be easily removed.

Raise this side (opposite to the expanded side) with index finger.

Expand Ring spring 11

Press the top of Sleevewith 1R291. with thumb.

Flat washer 11, Compression spring 13 and Sleeve are removed from Anvil.

Anvil and Nylon washer 14 can be removed from Hammer case complete.

Pay attention not to lose Steel ball 3.

Note: In case of repairing exclusively for Bit holding mechanism (Bit sleeve, Compression spring 13, Flat washer 11), it is not necessary to disassemble Hammer case complete from the machine.

ASSEMBLING

Take the disassembling step in reverse.
