Note: The extreme acceleration threshold is also the threshold that triggers the audible alarm on the CarChip Pro, CarChip Fleet Pro, CarChip E/X with Alarm, and CarChip Fleet with Alarm models. When this acceleration threshold is exceeded in a vehicle, the alarm sounds five times. See Enable CarChip Alarm for more information on using the CarChip Alarm feature.

Hard Acceleration Threshold
The Hard Acceleration Threshold box in the Set Acceleration Thresholds dialog box is the lower of two acceleration thresholds in CarChip software.
The default hard acceleration threshold is:
•0.30 G - For U.S. measurement system.
•0.30 G - For Metric measurement system.
•2.9 m/s2 - For S.I. measurement system.

The Extreme Acceleration Threshold box in the Set Acceleration Thresholds dialog box is the higher of two acceleration thresholds in the CarChip software.
The default extreme acceleration threshold is:
•0.45 G - For U.S. measurement system.
•0.45 G - For Metric measurement system.

Set Clock
The Set Clock dialog box lets you set the CarChip data logger's internal clock to match your computer's clock.
To set the CarChip's internal clock:
1.Select Set Clock from the CarChip menu. The CarChip / Set Clock dialog box displays.
