6.Remove the keyboard (2) by sliding it up and back at an angle.

Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard.

Before removing the memory card reader board, follow these steps:

1.Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

2.Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet.

3.Disconnect all external devices from the tablet.

4.Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base.

5.Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 64).

6.Remove the keyboard battery (see Keyboard battery on page 65).

7.Remove the keyboard plate (see Keyboard plate on page 67).

Remove the SD Card reader board:

1.Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the memory card reader board cable is attached, and then disconnect the memory card reader board cable from the TouchPad.

2.Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the memory card reader board cable is attached, and then disconnect the memory card reader board cable from the docking board.

3.Remove the three Philllips PM1.9×2.4 screws (3) that secure the memory card reader board to the top cover.
