Memory Specifications

The SAN Switch 2/8 uses the following memory.

■Main Memory (SDRAM): 32 MB per switch

■Flash Memory: Dual 8 MB

■Boot Flash: 512K bytes of 8-bit for system boot

The centralized memory maximizes the overall switch throughput by guaranteeing full transmit and receive bandwidth to all Fibre Channel ports at all times.
